Prior to relocating and finally making her filmmaking dreams come true in Hollywood, she had also done a variety of commercial work for a number of household-name brands like Pepsi, Versace and Toyota.

Entertainment, always using her platforms as a celebrity and influencer to inspire her friends and followers through the love of her philanthropic initiatives. She is the co-founder of Flor de Loto Pictures, a media company focused on bringing about social consciousness and global awareness to the public. She also laid the groundwork for the Oporto Foundation whose primary mission is to assist homeless children by supplying food, healthcare, education and rehabilitation. She serves as a celebrity spokesperson for QLB which builds green homes for the indigenous residents in arid Altiplano, Bolivia. And last but not least, for her charitable efforts via the Carla Ortiz Foundation, concentrated on the 2011 flooding disaster in La Paz, Bolivia, which affected over a million people, she was awarded with the Gold Medal of Honor from its congress... Becoming only the 4th recipient in the history of Bolivia. This Wonder Woman’s name is the one and only Carla Ortiz.
